What is the proceedit's Managed Broker Account (MBA50) Service providing?
The Managed Broker Account (MBA50) is a fully automated service that executes trading orders directly on your broker account. Using insights from the Continuous Trading Insights (CTI) service by proceedit, it ensures real-time order execution with no manual intervention. A seamless, hands-free solution for smarter trading.
This reduces the effort required from traders to handle orders received from the CTI Service. As an unattended service, the MBA50 removes daily dependencies and eliminates the risk of errors or delays when placing orders in their broker accounts.
The MBA50 service operates on a profit-sharing model, where subscribers are charged 20% of the monthly profits generated from executing CTI Service orders. There are no fixed costs, apart from a one-time setup fee - if there are no profits, there are no charges.
The MBA50 service currently operates with Interactive Brokers (IBKR), with support for additional brokers planned in the future.
There are no setup charges for the technical work to be done to connect MBA50 with the customer account.
The startup process for the MBA50 service is carried out in three phases:
-
Setup: The service setup for subscribers includes support for creating the required broker margin account and configuring the connection and integration with our system.
-
Testing: This process is first carried out using a paper account (no real money involved). Dummy operations are executed for a minimum of one week and up to a maximum of one month to ensure the system runs smoothly.
-
Production: We start executing real trades once the MBA50 service subscriber has paid the setup fee, signed the contract authorizing us to trade on their account with real money, and given final approval to proceed.
For Interactive Brokers (IBKR), a minimum deposit of €3,000 is recommended to maintain an operational margin account. Other brokers may have different requirements.
We do not enforce a minimum account balance requirement for eligibility to use the MBA50 service. However, considering the fixed commissions charged by brokers per transaction, we recommend a minimum trading balance of €10,000 for optimal cost efficiency.
The MBA50 service is exclusively available to Expertel SL investors, with the maximum assets under management (AUM) limited to the total investment made by the subscriber in the company. This includes investments in Phantom Shares, and Common Shares.
In a way, the MBA50 service functions as an unattended "Money Maker Machine" for its subscribers, generating approximately 10% monthly yields* consistently, without any effort required.
Why to use the MBA50 - Managed Broker Account Service?
Managing brokers' accounts and placing trade orders, including Long and Short operations and leverage, is a delicate task that must be executed correctly and on time. Failure to do so can result in losses, even if the orders received from the CTI (Continuous Trading Insights) service were accurate.
With the MBA50 (Managed Broker Account) service, you don’t have to execute trades yourself. The system automatically places orders in real time as they are generated by the CTI Service, ensuring fast and efficient execution.
Orders are always executed accurately, quickly, and on time. They are placed daily, either at once or at different moments, ensuring a continuous flow without interruptions or delays that could reduce potential yields.
In a way, the MBA50 service acts as an unattended "Money Maker Machine," generating approximately 10% in monthly yields* consistently, without any effort on your part.
Broker and margin account
Do I need an IBKR (Interactive Brokers) account to be a subscriber of the MBA50 Service?
Yes, having an Interactive Brokers (IBKR) margin account is a mandatory requirement to subscribe to the MBA50 service.
Do I need to have an exclusive account with IBKR to trade with MBA50?
Yes, you must have a separate IBKR account exclusively for the MBA50 service to ensure that your personal trading decisions do not interfere with the operations of the MBA50 service.
If so, how should I do this if I already have an account opened at IBKR?
You must open a separate IBKR account exclusively for the MBA50 service. This requires using a different email account and a different mobile phone number from those associated with your personal IBKR account.
Why do I need to have a Broker margin account?
The MBA50 service utilizes a combination of Long and Short trading operations to maximize the potential of the insights provided by the Continuous Trading Insights (CTI) Service. A margin account is mandatory to facilitate these types of trades effectively.
Can you guide me on how to obtain a IBKR margin account?
Yes, of course. Upon subscribing to the MBA50 service through the proceedit marketplace, a proceedit team member will promptly contact you via email to schedule a setup meeting on Google Meet. During this meeting, we will guide you step by step through the entire margin account setup process.
Are there other brokers available to trade in connection with the MBA50 Service?
Currently, we are exclusively working with IBKR (Interactive Brokers), but we plan to integrate other brokers in the future. In fact, we are already exploring and developing the necessary API technology to enable these potential integrations with the MBA50 (Managed Broker Account) service.
Do I need a dedicated IBKR (Interactive Brokers) margin account to trade with the MBA50 Service?
Yes, having a dedicated IBKR (Interactive Brokers) margin account for your MBA50 trading activities is mandatory, and it must be separate from your personal trading account. This ensures that MBA50-related trades remain distinct, allowing for better clarity, easier management of trading decisions, and seamless auditing of operations and profit-sharing calculations.
What should I do if I already have an IBKR (Interactive Brokers) margin account?
You must open a separate IBKR margin account specifically to fully benefit from the MBA50 service. The proceedit team will guide you through the setup process for this new account. Please note that, in rare cases, IBKR may decline the creation of a separate margin account.
Margin account and MBA50 service setup
Is there a setup fee for the MBA50 service?
There are no setup charges. Our team will guide you through the setup process and implementing the necessary connectivity. This includes deploying, configuring, and testing advanced system components to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
What are the steps to link my IBKR (Interactive Brokers) separate margin account to the MBA50 service after account activation?
Since IBKR does not support the use of API keys, connecting your IBKR account to the MBA50 service requires providing your IBKR account credentials to the proceedit team. This allows us to execute trading orders on your behalf through the MBA50 service. Rest assured, all information is handled with the highest level of security and confidentiality.
Once the link is established, what is the time from linking to system operation?
Once your IBKR account is fully set up and all required formalities are completed, we will link it to the MBA50 service and begin trading on your paper account for initial testing.
How long does it take for the MBA50 Service to start operating on my IBKR margin account?
After you have obtained your separate IBKR margin account, we will aim to configure and test the connection as quickly as possible, typically within a week, depending on the specific circumstances of your account. Once setup is complete, we will begin trading operations on the paper (simulated) account.
What is the current situation of the MBA50 Service?
The service is currently in its beta phase, meaning occasional maintenance or system issues may still occur. However, the proceedit team is fully committed to resolving any issues as quickly as possible to ensure smooth operation on your IBKR margin account. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this phase. Meanwhile, the MBA50 service is already placing orders daily & automatically.
Funding the account and maximum AUM policy
How is the funding capital for trades determined, and should I keep only the investment amount in my account?
IBKR requires a minimum investment of €2,000 in Eurozone countries or $2,000 in the United States to maintain a margin account. For optimal performance of the MBA50 service, we recommend investing €3,000 in the Eurozone or $3,000 in the U.S. You can choose to add more funds at your discretion, as the decision on the funding capital amount is entirely yours - not proceedit’s.
How can I temporarily or permanently suspend investment in my Broker margin account?
The decision to invest capital in your broker margin account is entirely up to you.
Are there penalties for changing my capital, pausing investment, or closing my account?
There are no penalties for adjusting your capital, pausing investments, or closing your account. However, if you close your IBKR (Interactive Brokers) account linked to the MBA50 service, your subscription will be terminated. If you decide to re-subscribe in the future, setup charges will apply again to cover the necessary configuration and setup work. Trades will only be placed based on the balance maintained in your IBKR account, equivalent to the AUM or investment held in Expertel SL.
Can I fund my Broker account in USD to avoid conversion fees if MBA50 works with US stocks?
Yes, of course, you can fund your broker account in USD. However, this requires changing your account’s base currency to USD and choosing one of the following options:
-
Using a U.S.-based bank account that supports FedWire or ACH (Automated Clearing House) transfers.
-
Utilizing multi-currency accounts from services like Wise (formerly TransferWise).
-
Funding your broker account in a non-USD currency while keeping the base currency as USD, enabling a one-time currency conversion.
Note: Please note that proceedit does not recommend linking your bank account directly to your broker account.
How is the capital I want to invest determined when replicating orders for the Quantum Fund? Should I only keep the amount I intend to invest in this account?
When transitioning to live trading mode (trading with real money), you must adhere to the AUM (Assets Under Management) policy, which corresponds to your investment in Expertel SL, with a minimum required amount of €10,000. While the capital in your IBKR account is entirely your choice, trades will only be placed on the amount of money in your IBKR account that is less than or equal to your total investment in Expertel SL across its different financial instruments. The orders executed in your IBKR account will mirror those applied daily in the Quantum Fund.
Is there a limit for funding the MBA50 account?
There is no limit for funding the MBA50 account but the volume of the trading operations will by restricted by the maximum Assets Under Management policy. This policy states that the volume of the trading operations to be managed in your MBA50 account are limited to the amount you have invested in Expertel SL in the different investment instruments: Common Shares, and Phantom Shares.
Is it better to deposit funds in USD since the market is American and trading is conducted in dollars?
There is no limit to funding your MBA50 account; however, the volume of trading operations will be restricted by the maximum Assets Under Management (AUM) policy. This policy states that the trading volume in your MBA50 account cannot exceed the total amount you have invested in Expertel SL through its various investment instruments, including Common Shares, and Phantom Shares.
Are there any penalties for increasing or decreasing the invested capital, temporarily suspending investments, or permanently stopping the service?
No penalties are applied in such events.
Trading operations and reporting
Who authorizes the start of trading through the MBA50 service, and how is it initiated?
The MBA50 Subscriber must authorize the start of trading on the live account. You have one month of trading on the paper account to decide whether to switch to live trading. If no authorization is received within this period, your subscription will be suspended.
Who executes the trading orders to manage investment operations in my IBKR account?
The MBA50 Service automatically places trading orders in your IBKR (Interactive Brokers) account using intelligent bots developed by the proceedit team. These bots operate based on CTI (Continuous Trading Insights) generated by advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI), ensuring a fully automated, optimized, and human-free trading process.
What precautions should I take to avoid disrupting the MBA50 service on my IBKR account?
IBKR (Interactive Brokers) allows only one active session per account at a time on any device. Since the MBA50 Service continuously places trading orders seven days a week (Sunday to Saturday), the MBA50-IBKR connection must remain active at all times. For this reason, subscribers must avoid logging into their IBKR account during operational hours to prevent disruptions in the MBA50 Service’s access. However, you will receive periodic email reports detailing all trading activities and updates on your IBKR account, ensuring full transparency.
What precautions should I take to avoid unintentionally interrupting the link? Other precautions or measures?
When the MBA50 Service begins trading on your live IBKR account, you will need to authenticate access to allow MBA50 to operate from Sunday to Saturday without interruptions. Since IBKR only supports one active session, you must avoid logging into your account during this period to prevent the system from losing authentication. On Sundays, you can access your IBKR account to review the trading activity and yields. If you wish to continue with the MBA50 Service, you will need to reauthorize access for the upcoming trading week.
How is the connection restored if I accidently access my Broker account during the MBA50 trading operations?
If you accidentally log into your IBKR account during MBA50 Service trading operations, you must immediately notify the proceedit team. If this happens during trading hours, some orders for that day may not be placed. To resume normal MBA50 operations, you will need to re-authorize access as soon as possible. Additionally, if the proceedit team detects unauthorized access before the market opens, they will promptly notify you so you can restore authorization and allow order placements. These procedures apply only to live trading mode, not to paper trading mode.
Are there any additional steps I should take to ensure smooth operations?
For the MBA50 service to operate smoothly on your IBKR account, live trading mode requires authentication via the IBKR app on your smartphone. This authentication ensures that the MBA50 service can trade continuously from Sunday to Saturday without interruptions. In paper trading mode, however, no additional authorization is needed from your side.
How can I monitor the orders executed by the MBA50 Service on my account each day?
You will receive periodic email reports detailing all orders placed, including executed trades, profits, losses, and other relevant account activity.
How can I track the updates on the trading activity in my Broker account through the MBA50 Service?
You will receive regular personalized email reports outlining the trading activity executed by the MBA50 Service on your broker margin account.
How are the securities transactions (Buy / Sell) and profits / losses recorded?
All asset transactions (Buy/Sell), along with maintained positions for each asset and the corresponding profits and losses, are recorded in the proceedit database. This information is compiled into a personalized email report, which is sent to you periodically.
I don't want to trade with leverage due to high risk involved. How can I be sure that this provision will be respected by the MBA50 Service?
Currently, we are not operating with leverage. If we decide to introduce leverage in the future, all MBA50 Subscribers will be consulted beforehand, and the decision to use leverage will be entirely up to you.
How should I proceed to suspend the investment temporarily or permanently?
The decisions regarding your capital in your IBKR account are entirely yours. However, if you choose to suspend your account permanently, you need to unsubscribe from the MBA50 Service. In case of a temporary suspension, please let us know by contacting us at finance@proceedit.com.
Who pays the fees for Interactive Brokers?
The various broker fees applicable to your MBA50 account such as spreads, margin interest, currency exchange rates, and others are directly charged by the broker to your account and are your responsibility to cover.
Profits and withdrawals
Are profits from the trading operations automatically reinvested into my IBKR margin account?
The profits generated in your IBKR margin account through the trading operations managed by the MBA50 Service will remain entirely in your account. You can request withdrawals of your funds from the broker at any time. Please note that the proceedit team does not have access to your IBKR account and does not have permission to withdraw any amount from it.
How is it ensured that only the account holder can withdraw funds from the Broker account?
To ensure that only the account holder can withdraw funds from the Broker account, it is recommended to fund your IBKR account via SEPA/ACH/FedWire/Bank Transfer or Wise (formerly TransferWise) rather than linking it directly to your bank account. When using these methods, your bank account remains securely linked to your IBKR account, and any withdrawal attempts will require verification from your side.
In the case of IBKR:
-
If a third party attempts to withdraw funds, IBKR will inspect the request before processing it and require your explicit authorization.
-
As IBKR allows only one active session per account, unauthorized access is highly unlikely.
-
If a fraudulent withdrawal request is detected, you will receive a notification from IBKR, giving you the chance to cancel the request within a set time frame.
-
You can also inform the proceedit team immediately, and we will take swift action to terminate the unauthorized session and safeguard your account.
If profits are made, do they add to the initial capital and are invested in an automatic way?
The profits generated will remain in your IBKR account, as Expertel SL does not have permission to withdraw any funds from it. Additionally, the MBA50 Service will place trading orders based on the amount available in your IBKR account, as long as it is less than or equal to your investment in Expertel SL. Trading operations will always adhere to this limitation, ensuring compliance with the maximum AUM policy.
Security and anti-fraud provisions
What actions can the MBA50 Service take with my account credentials?
The MBA50 Service is authorized to log into the IB Gateway software provided by IBKR (Interactive Brokers) to:
-
Place orders via the API provided by IB Gateway.
-
Retrieve order details, profits, and losses using your credentials.
These actions will be clearly outlined in the service contract, which will be provided to you by our team for full transparency.
How is the data I provide for my Broker's account access protected?
We safeguard the data provided by each subscriber using advanced encryption algorithms, ensuring the highest level of security to prevent any potential data breaches or unauthorized access.
Is there documentation available that outlines service's data protection and security protocols?
All details regarding data protection and security measures will be outlined in the contract sent to you before you agree to the MBA50 Service and before we begin operating on your live Broker account.
What measures are in place to prevent fraudulent activity?
Interactive Brokers enforces security measures that allow only one authorized session per user, with any activity immediately reported to the account holder. On the proceedit's side, we implement advanced encryption and decryption algorithms to safeguard user credentials. Additionally, automated security scripts run daily to ensure that all trading operations are conducted in a secure and controlled environment.
How is it ensured that only the account holder can withdraw funds, except in the case of profit withdrawals by Expertel SL?
Every Sunday, you will receive an authentication request on your smartphone via the IBKR Key application. You must approve this request to allow the MBA50 Service to operate on your account for the week. For security against theft, IBKR requires dual authentication whenever you attempt to withdraw funds to a bank account. Additionally, IBKR sends an email notification for every withdrawal request, and you can cancel the request if you receive more than two authentication prompts. Regarding security measures from Expertel SL, all operations are fully automated, eliminating human intervention. You will only provide credentials to designated team members whom you have personally met. These credentials are stored with the highest level of security and confidentiality. Expertel SL does not have permission to withdraw any funds from your account under any circumstances. Profit-sharing fees are deducted from your Credit balance, ensuring complete security and transparency.
Can I receive written confirmation regarding security and data protection arrangements?
Yes, all details regarding security measures and data protection will be clearly outlined in the contract provided to you for review and signature when you subscribe to the MBA50 Service.
Credits and profit-sharing fees
How much will you charge me for the MBA50 Service?
Our business model is based on a profit-sharing structure. We charge a monthly fee of 50% on the net profits generated through the MBA50 Service. If no profits are made, you pay nothing, there are no minimum fees or fixed charges.
How are you going to charge the monthly fees of the MBA50 Service?
proceedit charges the 50% profit-sharing monthly fee through the consumption of pre-purchased Credits. Before switching to live trading mode, you will need to purchase Credits from the proceedit marketplace. The 50% profit-sharing fee will then be deducted from your available Credits daily, based on the profits earned through the MBA50 Service.
How are the profit-sharing fees for the service deducted from my account?
Profit-sharing fees are NOT deducted from your IBKR account but are instead deducted daily from a balance of Credits that you, as the Subscriber, have previously purchased (1 Credit = €1). This deduction follows the 50% profit-sharing model, meaning no Credits are deducted in case of a loss. proceedit does not have access to withdraw funds from your IBKR account under any circumstances.
How does Expertel SL take the 50% of the profits off the broker account?
We don't withdraw profits from the MBA50 Subscriber's Broker account. When MBA50 is trading on your live account, you must purchase Credits from Proceedit's website, and we will deduct 50% of the profits from the Credits you have previously purchased from the Proceedit marketplace. If there are no profits, no Credit deduction will occur. If your account runs out of Credits, MBA50 will halt trading on your Broker account unless additional Credits are purchased.
How often are these fees withdrawn from my Broker account?
No fees are withdrawn from your Broker account, as we do not have permission to make withdrawals. In the case of profits, a Credit deduction is made at the end of each trading session and deducted from your Credits balance. If there is a loss, no Credit deduction is applied.
How often do they withdraw?
Expertel SL doesn't have the permission to withdraw from your broker account, we will deduct the 50% share from the purchased Credits from the proceedit marketplace.
How are stock buy and sell transactions, as well as profits and losses, recorded and reflected? Additionally, how is the 50% profit-sharing fee paid to Expertel in case of gains? Where can I access this information?
You'll receive periodic emails when MBA50 is trading on your live account, detailing all transactions, including the number of stocks purchased, their prices, and the resulting profits or losses. The 50% profit-sharing fee will be deducted from the Credits you have purchased in advance, not from your IBKR account.
Can I receive written confirmation regarding profit-sharing arrangements?
Yes, all details regarding profit-sharing arrangements will be clearly outlined in the contract provided to you for review and signature upon subscribing to the MBA50 Service.
